Bring Buy Get is an errand app for iPhone and iPad. It is a Zobot application — a product of Zobot LLC (“we”, “us”). This page explains where your data lives, what the app touches and why, and how long anything is kept. The short version: your data stays on your devices and in your own iCloud. We operate no servers for the app, so we cannot access, read, or recover anything you put in it.

Where your data lives

Everything you create in the app — places, pins, errands, photos, notes — is stored on your device and synced through Apple’s CloudKit into the private database of your own iCloud account. If you share your household with someone, that shared data lives in the household’s iCloud, visible only to the people you invited, and moves member to member through Apple’s sharing infrastructure.

Zobot operates no servers for the app. There is no Zobot account to create, and no copy of your data ever reaches us — we could not read your lists if we wanted to. Apple’s handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple’s own privacy policy and iCloud terms.

What the app never does

What the app touches, and why

Each of these is gated behind its own iOS permission. Decline any of them and the rest of the app keeps working.

Shared and pasted product links

When you share a product into the app from another app, or paste a link, your device fetches that page’s public title and image directly from the store’s own site and stores them with your data, next to the link. Nothing about that fetch goes through Zobot.

When you open a product link from inside the app, the link may carry referral tags (UTM parameters today; standard retailer affiliate tags may be added later), which tell the store the visit came from Bring Buy Get and may earn us a commission. The tags identify the app, not you. Links routed through our redirect at go.bringbuyget.com produce only the standard, unidentifiable request counts every web server keeps — the redirect stores nothing else and sets no cookies.

The household share

Sharing your household makes every place, pin, and errand in it visible to the people you invite — including each device’s arrival notes — and edits flow both ways. Invitations, acceptance, and removal are handled by Apple’s iCloud sharing. You can stop sharing, or leave a household, at any time from inside the app or from iCloud settings.

Retention and deletion

We have nothing to retain. Because your data lives only on your devices and in your iCloud account, retention is entirely in your hands:

Zobot holds no copy of your data, so there is nothing on our side to retain — and therefore nothing we could delete, hand over, or lose on your behalf. Apple’s timelines for purging deleted iCloud data and expiring device backups are governed by Apple’s iCloud terms.

This website

bringbuyget.com is a static site. It sets no cookies of any kind, runs no analytics, and embeds no trackers. Because there are no non-essential cookies (indeed, none at all), EU ePrivacy rules require no cookie-consent banner here — which is why you didn’t see one. The site is served by Cloudflare, which as our hosting processor may see the standard access logs (IP address, request, time) that serving any website entails.

Changes

If our data practices ever change materially — say, the app gains an optional online feature — this page will change with them, and the effective date above will move.
